Pibbs 514 Kwik Dryer on Casters 

I had ordered another hair dryer that looked like this that was cheaper and had legs of plastic and the hood wasn't made as well either. This is made so well. The legs are nice sturdy stainless steel and the hood is nice and sturdy as well. It may cost a little more, but so worth it. I am so happy with it. Others may look like this, but are not even close to this. I wish I would have found this one first when I was looking for this kind of hair dryer. The best!

I had NO idea which kind of dryer to choose because there are so many options. This dryer IS expensive compared to the other ones I researched, however, it was the same dryer that my hair salon used to dry my hair when I went. I have long, wavy, curly, thick, frizzy hair, and this is the first line of defense to combat that. I use the 3in rollers for the top, the gray rollers for the side/top, and the purple rollers for the sides and it all fits under the dryer. Based on prior knowledge of going to a 'dominican' hair stylist every 2 weeks, I was well aware that I needed a hair net before I used this dryer. They do include a hair net but I would recommend a buying a larger one when using larger rollers. The hardest part of using this dryer is not actually the dryer but rolling your hair to sit under the dryer. The second time around I had a plan for separating my hair and sectioning equal portions to wrap around the rollers. I do 1 hour on 50 degrees with something covering my ear(socks). I still have to blow dry my hair (roots mostly) after I take out the rollers but it takes me 1/8th of the time versus blowing drying only and there is hardly any burning. Plus while I'm under the dryer I'm usually working on my computer or watching Netflix on my phone.

I purchased this dryer about a month ago and it is well worth every penny!!! It has made my life so much easier and my hair is thriving! I have it permanently set up in a corner of my livingroom. Since it’s just basically black, it doesn’t “scream” for attention. It’s not even what anyone notices when they walk in.
I love the features on it as well. The timer makes it easy to “set it and forget it”. I especially love that I can control the temperature and that it stays consistent for the entire time that I sit under it.
I use it to deep condition my hair every week and then to dry my hair as a final step. I hate going around with wet hair in the winter! This hooded dryer is easier for me than a blow dryer & diffuser combo and I think it’s healthier for my hair too. It has really cut my drying time in half! …and since it stays set up, I’m more likely to use it! I hated dragging out my old bonnet dryer, setting it up, etc…etc…

This is a great quality hair dryer that I would recommend to anyone and not made on the cheap end. Customer service really works with you and responds in a timely timeframe to the client’s concerns. Thank you.

Love it. Helps dry under extensions and will get you dry in no time. Couldn't do that with my old Gold N Hot dryer and just had to put up with sitting under there for 3 or 4 hours only to have my braids underneath be still extremely damp. It would take 2 days to air dry after sitting under the dryer for those 3 or 4 hours. Then I'd get a girl friend to causally sniff my hair or scalp to make sure I didn't get that mildewy old weave smell from hair that hasn't been dried.

The hinge is a little loud which sucks in an apartment when you open the flap to get under or exit the dryer though, but that's minor unless you're doing that constantly instead of just sitting under there.

Nice and portable. Sturdy. Not wobbly. I wheel it from room to room. Don't expect to be able to sit on your couch and dry your hair. I wish I could but it doesn't work like that without me contorting my body in weird positions. Expect to sit at a chair. I'm sure a nice Lazy Boy would work but I sit at my kitchen table.

This has saved my life when I get last minute job interviews and can't get a hair appointment or have too much school work to do to wait in the salon for them to finally start your hair 2 hours after your scheduled appointment and work on like 5 clients in between you. My hair comes out quite nice actually. Almost as nice as the salon. This dryer is better in my opinion than most salon dryers I've had to sit under which fail to dry underneath my braids.

Overall just make the investment if you can. I hesitated for a few months because of the price but am so happy I bought this!!!
