This dryer is the same and the X-tra Hot dryer but it has the new Ionic Negative Ion generator built in. This makes the hair a lot softer and dry more evenly than any other dryer. It is 980 watts and comes complete with a timer and a temperature control with 4 settings. The dryer Hood is Extra Large and the Hood Arm is fully adjustable to fit all of your clients. It is both UL and CSA approved as it is made in the USA. Thermostat Settings: Low - 85 to 90 degrees, Medium - 98 to 110 degrees & Perm 140 degrees plus. Rated at 9.7 Amps.

These dryers are great! I bought 3 of them. However, please note the intake vent is on the back, not the top. My old ones are on the top of the box so it didn't matter if they were right up again or something. Other than that, they work perfectly!

I had my hair cut by a curly girl for the first time recently and she used one of these to dry my hair. I had to have one because I have struggled with frizzy curls my entire adult life. I've only used my dryer a few times, but so far so good. It sets my curls perfectly and puts out hot air!
